Abstract
A wide range of therapeutic options, from orthodontic treatment to indirect ceramic restorations, can be used to close diastemas and black triangles in the anterior dentition. Advances in adhesive and restorative dentistry over the past decade have enabled clinicians to use direct composite layering techniques to manage these situations. This article presents two clinical cases involving the closure of diastemas and black triangles using direct composite application as part of a conservative, aesthetic, and minimally invasive treatment approach.
