Abstract

Objective
The elevation of the sinus floor using osteotomes (OSFE) is a technique aimed at simplifying implant placement in the atrophied posterior maxilla. The need for bone grafting beneath the elevated sinus membrane remains widely debated. The purpose of this study was to compare the evolution of implant stability over 5 years in grafted versus non-grafted sites.
