Abstract
This article addresses the surgical and prosthetic options in oral implantology concerning the posterior mandible. Based on the existing literature and their 20 years of experience, the authors describe how to manage this anatomical region. Modern implant dentistry relies on well-established oral rehabilitation strategies that meet all the required criteria in terms of reliability and predictability of outcomes, while also minimizing treatment duration and cost.
